WATCH: Don't get ribbed off

Australian Pork Limited has launched a new #dontgetribbedoff campaign to raise awareness of imported ribs.

Imported ribs are ultra-heat-treated and pre-cooked to over 100°C. 

Some imported ribs are designed to sit on a shelf for up to two years, with many do not even needing to be refrigerated.

Described as having "no flavour", venues are encouraged to serve diners only fresh 100% Australian pork ribs.
