World’s healthiest extra virgin olive oil: Cobram Estate

Australian olive oil producer, Cobram Estate has been named the world's healthiest extra virgin olive oil at the 2017 Health & Food EVOO awards in Malaga Costa Del Sol, Spain, for its California Mission extra virgin olive oil.

Founders of the Boundary Bend-based company, Rob McGavin and Paul Riordan, have worked tirelessly to build Cobram Estate in Australian, and only launched in the US market last year. The news will no doubt bolster their company's profile in America.

The olive oil producer also won the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW prestigious President’s Medal in April with its Reserve Hojiblanca Ultra-Premium EVOO.

President of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Robert Ryan says, "It’s an award that advances the concept of quality beyond taste, setting new standards in best practice for environmental, social and economic management."
