Bulla brings nut-free ice cream to foodservice sector
Australian dairy company, Bulla, has announced that they are extending their nut-free ice cream to their foodservice range, offering the product in a new 10L size.
Coinciding with 2018 Food Allergy Week (May 13-19), Bulla's nut-free ice cream is the first of its kind in Australia and is developed in a dedicated nut-free facility.
“Following the positive response from consumers to our initial 2L Bulla nut-free ice cream launch in 2017, we're very proud to be able to take this a step further and extend this offering to our foodservice partners,” said Andrew Noisette, frozen marketing and portfolio strategy manager.
Bulla dedicated an entire factory to the production of nut-free ice cream in 2017, following its support for allergy awareness and sponsorship of Allergy & Anaphylaxis Food Allergy Week.
“Listening to the demand of our consumers and working closely with Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia was crucial in the development of Bulla nut free ice cream," says Noisette.
"We hope that these foodservice launches will give more people peace of mind and allow even more Australians to enjoy a delicious scoop (or two) of Bulla ice cream.”
The range will be available in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavours and is entirely gluten-free.
Bulla hopes to extend the range to a 5L format in the near future.
