Industry gearing up for inaugural lunch!
Australia's first ever trade show solely dedicated to cafes, takeaways and other food-to-go outlets will rock the Royal Hall of Industries, Moore Park, Sydney from 6-7 August.
Aptly named lunch!, the show comes at the perfect time for those in the industry looking to continue to grow their businesses.
“The food-to-go market is constantly expanding here in Australia so support for the inaugural show has been really promising," said lunch! exhibition director, Richard Wright.
"As consumers demand increasingly high standards and more menu options, the industry is only going to evolve and improve, and that’s demonstrated through our range of exhibitors and the special events taking place at the show over the two days.”
The show feature the innovations of over 150 unique suppliers as well as key events including:
Working lunch! Business Theatre: a series of free business seminars designed to assist food-to-go businesses;
lunch! Kitchen of Champions: top industry professionals will go head-to-head in an exciting array of competitions including The Great Australian Championships, The Australian Pizza Comp, The Equal Barista Cup, and the Australian Smoothie Championships;
lunch! Skills Academy: practical demonstrations including sushi rolling, pastry making, sandwich skills, and much more;
Innovations Challenge: watch the cream of the crop pitch their ideas to a panel of experts;
Hospitality Franchising Forum: potential and existing franchisees can connect and meet with hospitality franchisors.
