Sakeshop to host WSET Sake Courses in Sydney and Melbourne

Japanese sake providore, Sakeshop, is set to host a series of Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) courses to help liquor industry professionals understand the the nuances of sake.

With sake increasingly appearing on drinks menus across the country, these courses are tailored to sommeliers, bar managers, and bartenders.

Leigh Hudson, owner of Sakeshop and current IWC sake judge says, ”There has been a surging interest in Japanese sake amongst the public and drinks trade in the last couple of years, but until now there hasn’t been a school specifically focused on Sake qualifications in Australia. So we are pretty excited to be the first.”
