Melbourne chef and restaurateur, Scott Pickett, is shaking up his hospitality business with the closure of fine diner, Estelle by Scott Pickett (ESP), and the expansion of Estelle Bistro into the dining space.

Last service will take place at ESP on Saturday August 18, however the space will be available for functions and events until January 2019 when the refurbishment is due to begin.

In a statement, Pickett said, "ESP was a bit of a stepping stone to Matilda, it’s a beautiful restaurant and we’re all incredibly
proud of what we have created and been delivering there.

"With the recent launch of Matilda and continued success of Estelle Bistro, it makes sense to refocus and align our two Northcote restaurants into one, that locals can continue to love and support.”

Staff at ESP will be offered positions within Pickett’s four other venues, Estelle Bistro, Saint Crispin, Matilda 159 Domain and Pickett’s Deli.
