WHERE I EAT: Justin North
Executive chef of Woollahra's Hotel Centennial, Justin North, shares with foodService his favourite places to eat around Sydney.
I love taking the kids down to The Boatshed at Balmoral – simple and fresh. The kids love it, they have fresh juices, eggs and then do bombs off the wharf.
I had an absolutely fantastic meal at LuMi Bar & Dinning recently – Frederico Zanellato is certainly at the top of his game, a very talented chef.
Mecca in Alexandria has the best coffee. But also Flour & Stone for coffee and a chocolate and caramel tart.
I’m too old to celebrate them now – so prefer something low key. The kids love the dumplings at Din Tai Fung, as do I.
Ginger & Spice in Neutral Bay – Alex Lee is an amazing cook and the kids absolutely love his roti prata.
I love the Cured & Cultured Bar at Bennelong. I think this really shows off Sydney well, the architecture, food, style and drinks.
